Who we are
Drive With Lesedi (Pty) Ltd ("Drive With Lesedi", "we") operates this website and the DWL Auto sales service. We are the responsible party for the personal information collected through this website, as described in South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
When you submit a vehicle enquiry we collect your name, mobile number, email address (if provided), your preferred contact method and the answers to six short qualification questions (purchase timeframe, payment method, buying stage, willingness to purchase through us, trade-in interest and budget range). When you enquire from a specific vehicle listing we also record which vehicle you enquired about, the listing reference and the page URL. Finance applications collect the additional information shown on that form, and no finance documents are requested at the enquiry stage.
How we use your information
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, confirm vehicle requirements, availability and applicable pricing, and — where relevant — to prepare a personalised quotation. Your answers help us prioritise and route enquiries to the right team member; they are never used to determine creditworthiness or finance eligibility. Internally, enquiry scores and notes are visible only to authorised staff.
Marketing consent
Marketing communication (newsletters, promotions and new-arrival updates) is strictly optional and consented to separately. If you did not tick the marketing consent box, we will not send you marketing material. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. Your details are shared only with the Drive With Lesedi team and, where applicable for finance or trade-in purposes, with the supplying dealership and accredited finance partners involved in your purchase.
Storage, retention and security
Your information is stored securely and accessible only to authorised staff. We keep enquiry records only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry, conclude any resulting sale and meet our record-keeping obligations, after which they are deleted. You may request deletion of your information at any time.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, request access to it, correct or update it, or ask us to delete it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
